1. About Us
HappyCademy is operated by Sébastien Ferrand, based in Bangkok, Thailand (179 Witthayu Rd, Lumphini, Bangkok). We offer multi-subject private tutoring for children, covering Maths, English, Sciences, LEGO Robotics, Chess, and Coding. By booking a lesson or using our website, you agree to these terms.
2. Services
HappyCademy provides private and small-group tutoring sessions for children, delivered in-home, at our learning centres, or online. The subjects, schedule, and format are agreed at the time of booking.
3. Enrolment and Parental Consent
All students must be enrolled by a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these terms on behalf of the child. By booking, the parent or guardian confirms they have authority to do so.
4. Fees and Payment
Fees are quoted per lesson or per package and communicated at the time of booking. Payment is due before the first lesson of each month, or as otherwise agreed in writing. We reserve the right to pause lessons if fees remain unpaid for more than 7 days.
5. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Please give at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, or missed without notice, will be charged in full. Where possible, we will offer a make-up lesson, but this is not guaranteed. If we need to cancel, we will notify you promptly and offer a credit or make-up session.
6. Code of Conduct
We expect students, parents, and guardians to treat our teachers and other students with respect. Abusive or disruptive behaviour may result in termination of enrolment without refund of unused fees.
7. Photography and Media
We may occasionally photograph lessons for use on our website or social media. If you do not consent, please inform us in writing. We will never publicly identify children by their full legal name.
8. Intellectual Property
All teaching materials, worksheets, and content produced by HappyCademy remain our intellectual property and may not be reproduced or distributed without prior written consent.
9. Limitation of Liability
We take reasonable care to provide a safe, high-quality learning environment. Our total liability in any circumstance is limited to the fees paid for the affected lesson or period of service.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Bangkok.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 14 days before taking effect.
